Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group gets European Quality Award

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group has won the European Quality Award for its excellence in health care services.
This was announced at a ceremony held by Oxford Organizational Leadership in the UK, which distributed European Business Excellence Awards for 2015 to a number of institutions around the world.
Dr. Abdul Wahab Al-Abdul Wahab, GM for special projects at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group, received the award on behalf of the group.
Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group emphasized that it will continue its efforts to reach the highest levels of quality and utilization of modern and innovative techniques in offering health care services so as to maintain the advanced position, which it has achieved over the years.
The group noted that it has succeeded in a few years to be in an advanced position among health care facilities in the Middle East by its commitment to excellence and leadership in medical services.
Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group stated that with this new achievement, it has received awards totaling 41 international, regional and local accreditations in various medical, technical and administrative specialties such as the International Commission for the Healthcare Facilities (JCI).
The group's IT has received the ISO ISO27001 2013 version and the adoption of 1: 2011-ISO/IEC 20000 in the IT service management.
Also, all of the group's laboratories have got the accreditation of the American Society of Pathology. In addition, the group’s HR has acquired four awards.
Besides, surgical services and operation rooms have gained two awards.
The group has taken the first place in patient safety and services among the best hospitals in the Middle East. It is considered to be one of the 100 best hospitals in the Middle East.
