Swissport Saudi Arabia organizes first Career Assessment Day

Swissport Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of Swissport International — the world’s major provider of ground and cargo handling services to the aviation industry — established its operations in Saudi Arabia in the fourth quarter of 2015 and will commence providing the full scope of ground handling services at the Kingdom´s three main international airports — Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam as of April 15.
Striving to offer best possible services to its current and future customers, Swissport Saudi Arabia is now seeking to hire Saudi nationals, mainly as passenger service agents, and organized Career & Assessment Day in Riyadh on Feb. 23-24. The event will follow in Jeddah on March 8-9. Swissport meets with young Saudis and explains to them interesting career paths in aviation.
“The objective of the Career Assessment Day is to meet with young Saudi nationals who are interested in pursuing a career in the aviation industry and who love working in the international environment of an airport as passenger services agents,” the company stated.
Passenger Service Agents provide all necessary and required passenger and customer services as contracted by the airline customers, including, reservations, ticketing, baggage processing, terminal/gate check-in, jet way operation, greeting arriving passengers, handling of VIPs, special passenger assistance, etc.
Prerequisites for a successful career are a customer service-oriented attitude and good level of English.
