KSU to host first play conference next week

RIYADH: King Saud University (KSU) will host a play conference next week, the first such international event by any university in the Gulf, at the college of education from March 1 to 3.
The conference, titled “Children between traditional and electronic play: Educational and futuristic visions,” will be organized by the department of educational policies and early childhood education.
A KSU official on Thursday said that the Center for Writing in English, under the supervision of the vice-rectorate of educational and academic affairs, has provided language support for organizational content in English for the play conference.
The cooperation from the Center for Writing in English is aimed at realizing one of its goals, which is supporting KSU members and institutions in academic writing in English.
The importance of this conference lies in being a response from KSU to the government toward children engaged between digital and traditional toys to grow interest for an educational and a futuristic vision by extending access to the children, who will shape their future.
