Ahmad Farroukh, CEO of Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), highlighted the importance of economic transformation, which the Council of Ministers headed by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has approved and announced by Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Farroukh added that the transformation urges the diversity of economic income, which is fundamental for the strength of the Saudi economy and its sustainability on the long term.
Farroukh emphasized that the ambitious vision of the Saudi leadership delineate the features of a strong and solid economy by 2030 and puts it in the ranks of developed countries of the world, especially since Saudi Vision will establish a great balance and aims to bring about a significant development in HR.
Farroukh said: “Mobily is proud to be part of this important strategic vision since it is one of the national organizations and will keep pace with the requirements of economic plans and harness its infrastructure and services to support the goals of Vision 2030.”
Mobily claims to operate the largest data center infrastructure in the region, covering more than one million users via FTTH network; it aims to develop other broadband technologies which gives Mobily in readiness for future requirements.
Mobily’s CEO clarifies: “The company is totally interested in Saudi calibers and provides them with the best possible support by launching development programs that are consistent with the requirements of global telecom market.”
He stressed that the keenness of Saudi Vision 2030 to nationalize jobs is one of the most important reasons for Saudi HR development, and this is the case in Mobily, which has been recruiting outstanding national competencies in the field.
Mobily’s CEO added: “Saudi Vision 2030 will have a positive impact on both the governmental and private sectors; it aims to stimulate the efficiency of the investment ecosystem.”
