JEDDAH: A Saudi known as Abu Rakan has offered to buy for SR1 million the mobile phone of the broadcast journalist of CNN Turk on which President Recep Tayyip Erdogan appealed to people to come out in streets and defeat the coup. The offer came on Rakan’s Twitter account where he described the gadget as the “phone of freedom.” While some twitterati ridiculed the offer, others said this was demeaning of a major event that shook the world.
