Divided we fall

This refers to the report “US, Russia agree new Syria truce plan.” (Sept. 10)
This is highly ironical that the fate of an Arab country is often decided by non-Arab countries that take optimum benefit of the continued disunity in the Muslim world.
The so called truce in any case has been reached taking into consideration the individual benefits of the US and Russia. It won’t help rebels oust the criminal Bashar Assad from power. — Mustafa Paloli, Toronto
