KIA ALJABR, the sole KIA distributor in Saudi Arabia, has claimed success in spreading awareness on the importance of road safety rules, and the need for remaining committed to it among Janadriyah festival visitors.

“We have done it in an innovative way,” KIA ALJABR stated, adding that the promotion is in line with the Kingdom’s annual Janadriya festival (1434H) and a move considered the first of its kind in the Middle East.

“We have launched an interactive application, which calls on all community members to remain committed to and respect road safety rules while driving,” the company stated.

The visitors have already started engaging themselves with the application through which they can share the information on Facebook and Twitter with their family, loved ones and friends. The application has also been activated on tablet devices at the festival to give the participants the chance to be aware of road safety all the time.

All participants are invited to take souvenir photos with the road safety signs that they choose to remain committed. The visitors are also asked to sign their commitment on a dedicated wall installed for this cause.

“By doing this, KIA ALJABR is raising the spirit of commitment to and respect for road safety rules. Furthermore, in order to give a real experience of the application, the participants are called to ride a moving chair that suddenly stops to realize the importance of putting the seatbelt while driving,” the company added.

“Today, we are very proud to launch this awareness initiative in an innovative way as an interactive application that harmonizes with youth spirit and their interest. We are targeting the segment of youth as they are the future builders of society,” said, Vice President of KIA ALJABR Marketing and Sales Abdulsalam Aljabr. “We are delighted to invite all Janadriya visitors to visit our tent, and present their commitments and expectations to the road safety rules while driving,” he added.

Meanwhile, KIA ALJABR is planning to start a Kingdomwide roadshow to promote road safety awareness using this interactive application.

The roadshow will visit a number of Saudi cities calling everyone to join hands together toward making driving a safe experience for all.
