On what it has been like working the frontlines during COVID-19:

From the very beginning of the pandemic, the Health Ministry took the initiative to bring the medical teams in our hospitals and medical centers all the necessary protective tools. It also provided us with knowledge about the virus that has hit millions around the world…

We were also cautious when touching surfaces. Covering mouth and nose and social distancing of no less than a meter and a half also helped us stay safe from the virus. These are the most important medical instructions we were told to accurately adhere to. That way, all my fears evaporated, but I was obsessed over contracting the virus and transmitting it to my family.
