RIYADH: A group of disabled children from the Riyadh-b ased Disabled Children’s Association (DCA) visited the Saqr Al-Jazeera Museum recently.

“The visit was successful and meaningful,” Tariq Al-Harbi, a media practitioner who accompanied the children, said.

“The experience and knowledge they gained will contribute to the integration of kids with disabilities in the community,” he said.

He said that the visit was in accordance with a permanent cooperation between the DCA headed by Prince Sultan bin Salman and the museum. The children were delightful to visit the museum, he said.

“Their experience during the visit will reflect positively on their education and rehabilitation in future,” he said.

The children, who were wearing military uniforms, said that they are proud of the Saudi troops fighting intruders in the southern region.

The kids were fascinated with the DC-3 aircraft which was presented to King Abdulaziz as a gift by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
