RIYADH: An around-the-clock email service has been set up to deal with requests for emergency transport during the coronavirus curfew.
A spokesman for the General Directorate of Public Security said a special team had been established to handle enquiries for the 13 regions of the Kingdom where movements had been restricted due to the pandemic.
Anyone needing help should contact [email protected] giving their personal and contact details along with a brief explanation and proof of why and where they need to travel.
People would be contacted immediately, said the spokesman, and those with exceptional circumstances would be allowed to move between regions.
He also noted the importance of continuing to implement preventive measures to stop gatherings of all kinds in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
