DAMMAM: Martina Strong, chargé d’affaires of the US Embassy in Riyadh, and Dinka Mask, acting consul general in Dhahran, called on Eastern Province Mayor Fahad Al-Jubeir at his office in Dammam on Monday.

During the meeting, they reviewed different development projects in the Kingdom’s eastern region.

The officials also discussed ways to enhance cooperation for the development of smart cities in the region.

In May 2021, Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saudi bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz inaugurated 24 development projects of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.

The projects worth SR2.1 billion ($560 million) are aimed at improving the quality of life in the Kingdom.
