RIYADH: Saudi Arabia announced two deaths from COVID-19 and 4,092 new infections on Wednesday.

Of the new cases, 1,408 were recorded in Riyadh, 325 in Jeddah, 272 in Dammam, 172 in Hofuf, 122 in Makkah, and 101 in Jazan. Several other cities recorded less than one hundred new cases each.

The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 649,334 after 4,604 more patients recovered from the virus.

A total of 8,943 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.

Over 57.5 million doses of a coronavirus vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
