The commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces, Lt. Gen. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mutair, attended the Pakistan Day parade in Islamabad, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.

The participation of Al-Mutair, who led the Ministry of Defense delegation to attend the military parade and air show, represents the fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

Pakistani President Dr. Arif Alvi thanked the military leaders of Saudi Arabia and other friendly countries for joining a Pakistan Day parade despite challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic, saying their presence at the event was proof that they always stood by Pakistan.
