MAKKAH: Deputy Hajj and Umrah Minister Dr. Abdul Fattah Mashat received on Sunday the head of Oman’s preaching and guidance department, Sheikh Sultan bin Said Al-Hinai, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting, in Mashat’s office in Makkah, discussed topics of common interest to facilitate the journey of pilgrims and help them perform Hajj in ease and peace.

Mashat and Al-Hinai signed an agreement on Hajj preparations to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims from Oman and cater to their requirements.

Al-Hinai thanked the Saudi government for its efforts to serve pilgrims, notably those coming from Oman.

He said pilgrims from Oman truly appreciate the Saudi government’s efforts and accomplishments that contributed to the success of the last Hajj season.

“We ask God to bless these efforts to help pilgrims perform their Hajj in line with the aspirations of the Kingdom’s government,” said Al-Hinai said.
