- Says military attaché’s office will strengthen ties between armies of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Saudi Chief of General Staff Lt. General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili on Tuesday inaugurated the new headquarters of the kingdom’s military attaché in Pakistan, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Speaking on the occasion, Al-Ruwaili said the opening of the office reflected the deep cooperation between the two countries, applauding defense and security relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The general said the military attaché’s office would strengthen ties further and work as a bridge of communication and fruitful cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
“His Excellency stressed that the opening of the new military attaché building reflects the support of the wise leadership to support common interests and the extent of cooperation between the two countries in all fields,” SPA said.
The inauguration ceremony for the office was also attended by the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, the military attaché at the embassy, and other senior officials and diplomats.
