RIYADH: The Saudi Ministry of Interior has launched a creativity project aimed at encouraging members of the public to help develop its work and services.

Titled the Absher Challenge, the initiative is a product of the Absher Oasis program that seeks to empower the technology that contributes to the processing, improvement and innovation of the ministry’s technological work.

Challenge supervisor, Lt. Col. Saud bin Najar Al-Otaibi, said the initiative would be looking to drive forward the existing digital platform through modification, better procedures, and new additions in a bid to improve user experience. The challenge would also be to create dynamic new service provisions for individuals, businesses and government while also enhancing the performance of employees.
