JEDDAH: The US Department of State has designated the Consul General position in Jeddah, currently held by Ryan Gliha, as the official US representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

With 57 member states, the OIC is the world’s second-largest multilateral organization after the UN.

The Department of State said that its mission to the Kingdom “looks forward to continuing and expanding collaboration between the organization and the US.”
