Bupa Arabia and Zagzoog continued their campaign for a clean record as they overcame their respective opponents to post convincing victories in the OFBL (Overseas Filipino Basketball League) 3rd Conference Inter-Company Bonafide Friday Evening Division at Timeout Sports Academy Gymnasium on Television Street Ghulail District on the outskirts of Jeddah.

A strong second half for Caisip who scored 18 points and Labitoria who had 15 points, helped Bupa get past Al Majal, 80-67, to preserve its untainted record at 4-0.

The match was just about match in the first half, as both teams went head to head to end the halftime with Bupa down by 3 points 33-30. But Bupa made its run in the third quarter taking the lead and ending the period with 7 -point advantage over Majal.

And Bupa increased further its lead in the 4th quarter as Majal collapsed, denying any chances for a comeback, till the conclusion of the game. It was the second loss of Al Majal at the hands of Bupa.

Thocks contributed 12 points, along with Scala who had 10 points and Manguera with 8 points for the losing team.

In the other game, Zagzoog was just too much for INEX, as Zagzoog hammered out an emphatic 92-69 victory to improve its record to 5-0.

INEX tried to keep pace with the shooting prowess of Zagzoog in the first quarter, closing the period just 2 points behind Zagzoog 28-26. But Zagzoog raced out in the second quarter to leave INEX behind with double digits advantage and never looked back.

Nolagon hit 4 consecutive 3-point shots in the fourth quarter to lead his team with 23 points. He was helped out by Gonzales who had 13 points, for the winning team.

Angeles scored 16 points, Tepait contributed 14 and Nunag and Abler combined for 12 points for INEX.

Meanwhile, the spotless records carry on as well in the Friday Morning Games Division, with OKAS 4-0 and Toyota 3-0 as the frontrunners in the Rated C Division. The Non-rated Division has Toyota leading the way on 5-0, followed by Nesma on 4-1.
