JEDDAH: Some close encounters were witnessed during the fifth week, season nine, of the 15-over Jeddah Premier League for the Asaduddin Owaisi Cup.

The 12-week cricket fiesta, organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association, is sponsored by Dream India, Mumtaz Sports Academy, Al Wafaq Al-Shaheqa Group and Qatar Airways.

The highlight of the day was IOE’s record 242 for 3 against MIM, which lost the match by 172 runs. Rizwan scored a well-made 106 runs.
