RIYADH: King Faisal Specialist Hospital Blues and Lahore Lions will clash in the final of the 40-over Al-Kharj League title for Saudi Arabian Investment Bank (SAIB) Cup, organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.

In the semifinal KFSH Blues outclassed Pak Shaheen by 6 wickets and Lahore Lions scored a thrilling three-run win Lahore Badshah.

In the Hurayamla Twenty20 semis KFSH beat Pak Eagles by 6 wickets and will take on Super Cricket Club, which routed Riyadh Warriors by 63 runs.

In the Hayer League semis, Riyadh Fighters outclassed PTI by six wickets while Watan Pal edged past Lahore Badshah Green by two wickets.

In the Al-Kharj semis, Pak Shaheen used the track first and scored 255 runs. Abdul Qadir (62) and Abdul Waheed (42) were the main scorers. For Blues, Iftikhar Ali was the wrecker-in-chief who took 5 for 30. Saqib Saleem chipped in with 2 wickets while Raja Gulraiz and Syed Usman took a wicket each. Chasing a modest target, KFSH Blues were off to a solid start by openers Ayaz Mohammed (85 not out) and Nasir Abbasi (34). In the middle order, Munawar Shafi played with responsibility knock of 66 runs. For Pak Shaheen, Ateeq picked 2 wickets.

In the other semifinal, Lahore put on board 302. Sami top-scored with 88 runs Fahad (68) and Nawaz (55) were the other run getters. Imran Khan took 4 wickets while Imran Ali got 3.

In reply Lahore Badshah gave a spirited reply of of 299 runs. Usman was the highest scorer with 68 runs while Fahad Munir and Yassir Maqbool scored 59 and 51 runs respectively. Mansoor and Muzaffar picked 3 wickets each while Nawaz got 2.
