Orient Watch became the first to repeat as Team of the Week following another impressive display during the 7th session in the Jeddah Thursday Bowling League 10th Season at the Sultana Center’s Bowling City here.

Orient Watch edged out Carlos for Sports Uniform for its second straight team award, compiling 31 points to Carlos’ 30.

League leading D’ Barkads came in third place on the day on 26 points followed by Jeddah 500 23, Sarawat-Bowling Cit 21 and Taurus 18.

RJ Transient Houses pooled 14.5 points in seventh place while Habagat and Lucky 13 brought up the rear on 12 and 4.5 points.

To Tommy De Castro of Carlos Sport went the individual Bowler of the Week award after he shot the high series of 634 on lines of 236, 167 and 192.

Though Orient took the first two games in a fast start Carlos, who won the third game, had been threatening all while and managed to pull through after coming up with a better overall output 2,912 to 2,897.

The trio of Jay Bengco, Rico Nery and Ed Sardiña took charge at Orient hitting 614, 588 and 554. Team captain Abdul Obie Ycasas had two games of 169-192 as did Elo Manalo 181-168 and Abdul Mugawan 205-181.

Over at Carlos Sports Pancho Cuevas rolled three-game series of 619 to back up De Castro with Carlos Constantino on 574, Hero Garcia on 536 and Archie Santos on 534 in a five-man rotation.

Rey Beltran was four pins short of 600 at the helm of D’ Barkads who also received 550 from Leo Edejer, 536 from Rudy Valenzuela and 514 from Ladio Gonzales. Sharing the remaining three games were Romy Bunagan 200-191 and Bing Amolo 179.

Cesar Monares came through with 579 to lead Jeddah 500. Also completing three gmaes for Jeddah 500 were Dylan Ilagan 560, Edward Botardo 546 and Frank Afurong 528.

Rene Martinez, Rolly Vistal and Mohd Amri paced Sarawat-BCT on 566, 562 and 503 in that order.
