Pak Shaheen routed Lahore Lions by 59 runs to emerge champions from Al-Kharj Zone in Alhamrani FUCHS Cup T20 cricket tournament organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.

In the final, Pak Shaheen batted first and put on board 191 from the stipulated 20 overs.

Openers Abdul Waheed (56) and Wahid (43) set up a strong foundation. However, Lahore Lions fought back with some quick wickets during the middle overs.

Later, Ishaq scored an invaluable 32 runs, which propped up his team’s total to 191. He later went on to take 3 wickets and lead his team to victory.

Lahore Lions were never in the match right from the start and lost wickets at regular intervals. Besides Ishaq, Ateeq bagged 3 wickets while Wahab got 2.

In the Huraymala Zone, Saudi Jaguars, which consists of many Saudis, got better of Attieh Steels by 6 wickets. Attieh Steels totaled 168 runs.

Thanks to Sajid Cheema’s brilliant knock of 125. For Jaguars, Faisal Sheikh bowled with great control and took 5 wickets.

Shaukat chipped in with 2 crucial wickets. Jaguars achieved the target for the loss of only 4 wickets.

Rao Kamran played a scintillating innings of 106.

In the Riyadh Zone,

Majlis-e-Pakistan’s batted first and were bowled out for 132. None of the batsmen were able to face the tight bowling effort the rival team.

Asif took 3 wickets while Hameed grabbed 2. Yusafzayi achieved their target and won the match.

Asif remained unbeaten on 56 and Altaf scored 41.
