Red Dragons continued their stellar performance to win their third Team of the Week award, the most of any team thus far, during the fifth session in the OFBC 3 + 1 Friday Afternoon League 2nd Season at the Ice Land Bowling Center.

Red Dragons ended up with the day’s top tally of 27 points following a 20-0 shutout of Pairs and Spares on total pinfalls of 1,759-1,555 and rank points of 7 and 2.

Versatile Guys kept pace of the league-leading Red Dragons by returning the second-best score of 25 points against the bye team on total pinfalls of 1,621 and rank points of 5.

The Replacement brought down the previous week honoree, The Youngsters Revival 16-4 (1,800-1,713 8-6) and in the process swept the individual awards courtesy of Fedelyn Bustinera and Allan C. Salamanes who were the ladies and men’s Bowler of the Week on 585 and 617 respectively.

The Replacement totaled 24 points while Youngsters could only muster 10 points.

The match between Makati Foods and RJ Transient Houses ended in a 10-10 draw on total pinfalls of 1,621-1,580 rank points of 4-3 and total win points of 14 and 13.

Bash Langa fell just a few pins short of 600-series on 596 while leading the Red Dragons who had Thong Mujeeb Langa as the only other player to go the distance on 522. Tom Langa shares two games of 195-181 while Cesar Pagtalunan added 175.

Mia Cedotes and Joey Calapatia led the Pairs’ losing cause on 532 and 506 respectively.

Joel Alegre and Danny Franciso scored 510 and 495 as the two players with complete games at Versatile Guys, who also received 193-184 from Tirso Bambalan and 143 from Danny Atubang.

With Khalid Bustinera’s 598 added to the scores from Fedelyn and Salamanes The Replacement effectively used a three-man rotation against the Youngsters who were led by Vic Gonzales with 559.

At Makati Foods Benj Espinosa owned the team’s top score of 565 with two-game contributions coming from team captain Vovstone 183-170, Archie Alcantara 145-155 and Jana Felesmina 107-126.

Hadi Pacheco and Jack Jarin shost 558 and 512 at the helm of RJ Transient House. Skipper Rudy Jamon had 142-154 and Ding Dela Roa 158.
