The RG512 for Clothes had two reasons to celebrate after it seized the awards for Team of the Week and Bowler of the Week courtesy of Thong Asuncion during the 21st session in the Almarai-FBGR Saturday Bowling League at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC).

Almarai Co. sponsored the tournament under the auspices of Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR).

RG512 for Clothes mentored by Yasser Mohamed crushed Alinma Bank of Abdulrahman Ahmed 24-7 with Asuncion at the helm when he shot the high series of 891 on lines of 237, 248, 189 and 227, and with splendid support from Rocky Manipon 879, Rasheed Rasheidan 875, Noel Marquez 832 and Mohamed 756. Scorers for Alinma Bank were Bernie Torres 794, Fareed Aquino 793, Leo Mabunga 771, Abdulrahman Ahmed 739 and Jess Ambon 713.

Proshop Strikers blasted Expendibles 22-6 in a 4-0 match. Leading scorer for Proshop Strikers were Manny Lebrilla 873, Ric Urrutia Jr. 864, Ruel Toledo 829, Vic Barrazona 800 and Ruby Urrutia 783 points. Erwin Nacario led the losing team on 906 followed by Fathi Abdulaziz 811, Fahd Al-Haza 774 and Jerry Austria 75.

Alsalam Knights of Bandar Al-Marshad defeated Exodus of Benny Mondoy 13-7. Rollie Cleofe led the way for Alsalam on 842 with Lito Vega on 824, Bandar Al-Marshad 736, Jess Vidal 679 and David Magsalin 319. For Exodus Edgar Buenaventura had 821, Joel Lambo 809, Rizal Dellosa 785 and Mar Queyquep 723.

In another match, sponsor team Almarai Co. mentored by Emerson Mitra smashed Kapit-Bisig piloted by Clem Ojeda 21-5.

Doy Del Moral was the top scorer at Almarai on 908 followed by Joel Batolina 807 and Fhel Ramos 738 while Paul Decena and Jun Daniel contributed three games of 612 and 555 and Mitra added 398 in two games. Shawn Ricketts was the main man at Kapit-Bisig on 841. James Boyd added 824, Billy Baladiong 736, Jojie Manalansan 661, Joe Rafael 512 and Omar Valdez 215.

In other matches, defending champion Eraserheads mentored by Armin Isles won by default over Alfanar Precast 22-0, Sebo Boys of Koko Torres whipped SABB Tenpin Wizards of Allan Ofreneo 18-11 while Nadec Strokers of Lope Ramirez defeated Carry Over of Lulu Quejada 19-10.
