After the game, which he won 4-0, he praised his family, coach and country — and received a standing ovation.

“I am really proud that I made my country proud. I am very grateful to my family and coach. Hopefully this is the start of my era and I can make my country proud every year,” the 18-year-old said.

More than 20 million gamers vied for a spot in the annual eWorld Cup, with just 32 making it to the finals.

Al-Dossary has already won the FUT Champions Cup Manchester this year and has now seen off the challenge of 31 other gamers at The O2.
