JEDDAH: SIFF-Rabea Tea tournament saw one of the fastest matches of tournament when ACC-B qualified for the semifinal by holding an aggressive Snack Restaurant Friends Jeddah 3-3.

Both teams swapped leads because of their tactical mistakes. Snack Friends Jeddah displayed attacking football throughout the game but got an early shock when ACC striker Emad Naser’s cross to penalty box was headed in by Friends Jeddah defender Shameel by mistake 1-0. Snack Friends Jeddah counterattack led by Raneesh and Fateen created panic in ACC penalty area. ACC got its best chance when Emad dribbled past Shameel and keeper Faisal and passed to Abdul Jaleel who shot above bar.

But Jaleel compensated for the miss by converting a beautiful pass from Waleed Naser 2-0. Just before 1st half whistle Raneesh took a powerful shot from outside penalty area which defeated in-form ACC keeper Subair 2-1. In second half friends Jeddah attack brought result as Manaf placed the ball in from a beautiful assist from Raneesh 2-2 .Friends Jeddah took lead in next minute through HarisNani again from an assist by Raneesh 3-2 .

ACC defense were not solid like last game and mainly Khalid Naser was shaky. Jaffer Ali, Waleed and Hyder of ACC were in superb form, initiating most of ACC attacks. After a well stitched move, a powerful shot from Emad hit the bar.

Friends Jeddah maintained the lead and seemed to march to last four but their right wing back did a blunder, instead of marking Emad in dying moments of game, he overlapped till ACC penalty area but lost the ball. Waleed caught the ball and lobbed to Emad who dribbled past 2 defenders. ACC got a penalty for hard tackle on Emad which Jafer Ali placed on left corner of net 3-3. RaneeshTheke Thodika was man of the match and received trophy from Hassan Anakkayam..

In B division match, Jeddah FC held Town Team Strikers 1-1. A speedy match Town Team had upper hand and always maintained the supremacy. Town Team missed their best chance when Sakir’s gunner rubbed the bar and went out. Ameer Madathil and Faisal were spear head of their attack. But Jeddah FC utilized the first opportunity when their Shihabudhin scored from a stunning free kick of Mohammed Jafer 1-0. Ahmed Kutty Tayyil equalized for Town Team Strikers (1-1). Shahid Ali Karangadan named as mana of the match and received trophy from Naufal Kaindikkara.

In C division match Soccer Freaks bowed out of tournament after losing to Friends Friday FC by 2-0.
