Almuhaidib of Robert de Guzman defeated Toyota Sequoia 84-80 in the JBL Basketball Tournament at Bin Mafouz court on Tahlia Street, Al Andalus District here.
Almuhaidib’s run-and-gun offense in the crucial seconds of the game broke the defensive wall of Jimmy Abdullah Beltran’s Sequoia squad.
Pabs Viscayno top-scored with 31 big points for Almuhaidib and was adjudged as the Giordano best player of the game while Paul Taguba had 23 points for Toyota Sequoia.

Almabani went to the open man and continued to attack the shaded area for its offense. Caguioa scored 14 points for Almabani and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while Ronald Uranza showed his outside shooting and led the ALJ Used Cars with 17 points.
Marhaba of Dennis defeated SBG Sparks 64-58. Marhaba in a do-or-die situation ran is offense well in the final quarter. SBG Sparks missed important baskets in the dying seconds. Vincent Masapol had 15 points for Marhaba and was adjudged as the Saudi Signs best player of the game while Omboy scored 16 points for SBG Sparks.
BM Original Red of Mahmoud Quidlat continued its winning streak and beat Taqwa Brothers Green 82-66 in the Jeddah Dawah Center Inter-Color. BM Original was unstoppable in its running game. Villegas top-scored with 25 points for BM Originals Red and was adjudged as the JDC best player of the game while Walled A. had 23 points for Taqwa Brothers Green.
Jeddah Eagles of coach Hassan Zenoudine routed Barangay Fame 74-49. Jeddah Eagles’ trapping defense gave Barangay Fame a headache in the whole game. Barangay Fame tried hard but lost its grip in the final quarter. Alfred top-scored with 13 points for Jeddah Eagles and was adjudged as the JBL best player of the game while Gallano had 12 points for Barangay Fame.
Al Mostaqbal Hospital of Jack Esquerdo defeated El Khereji 83-71. Al Mostaqbal played good teamwork in the fourth quarter. El Khereji seemed to have an off night missed several important baskets. Martinez scored 26 for Al Mostaqbal Hospital and was adjudged as the Arab News best player of the game while Zambale scored 24 points for El Khereji.
Urban Design Group of Ariel Acedera beat Saudi Diyar 71-62. The UDG cheering squad gave its players a good moral booster in the final quarter.
