The UAE grants more stars golden visas

From Bollywood stars to renowned designers, the UAE has granted celebrities from around the world golden visas, giving them 10-year residency in recognition of their contributions. 

  1. Salman Khan
    Salman Khan
    This week, Abu Dhabi granted the Bollywood superstar, famous for his roles in “Bharat” and “Race 3,” the long-stay permit as “a reflection of the strong bond between the Indian and UAE creative industries.”
  2. Divya Khosla Kumar
    Divya Khosla Kumar
    Khan is joined by the Bollywood actress Divya Khosla Kumar, who is famous for her roles in the movies “Love Today” and “BulBul.” 
  3. Riteish Deshmukh
    Riteish Deshmukh
    Among those awarded the special residency permit is Indian actor Riteish Deshmukh. He is a comedian, television presenter and film producer known for his films “Housefull” and “Ek Villain.”
  4. Giorgio Armani
    Giorgio Armani
    The Italian fashion designer got the golden visa in October. Dubai is home to his Armani hotel, which is housed in the Burj Khalifa.
  5. Cristiano Ronaldo
    Cristiano Ronaldo
    The Portuguese and Manchester Unied footballer was among the first stars to receive the long-term visa. He is a regular visitor to the UAE. 
  6. Shah Rukh Khan
    Shah Rukh Khan
    The Indian actor and superstar owns a house on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai and spends plenty of time in the UAE. In 2016, he was named brand ambassador of Dubai.
