RIYADH: King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Blues, registered a comprehensive eight-wicket win over Lahore Badshah in round six of the Al-Kharaj League American Express Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.

Jabar and Tila’s brilliant bowling helped restrict Lahore Badshah to a paltry 112 runs. Fahad showed some resistance with 33 runs. Jabar ripped through the rival batting line-up with 5 wickets. Tila supported him with 3. KFSH Blues easily got to the target off 10.5 overs. Later, Tila smashed a quick-fire 57 and Nadeem Babar batted well for his 36 runs. Nazir took 2 wickets.

In another match, Amer Holidays defeated Shouraim by 4 wickets. Shouraim posted 182 for 8. Badar and Saeed took 2 wickets each. In reply, Amer Holidays chased the target in 19.2 overs. Irfan scored a brilliant 94 while Shahbaz supported him with 30.

Riyadh Aces bowlers bowled out Lahore Lions for 115 runs. Asmat top-scored with 35 runs. Khalil, Farman, Khalid and Imran took 2 wickets each. Riyadh Aces reached the target off 15.5 overs. Ijaz batted well for his 46 runs. Nawaz grabbed 3 wickets.

Later, CKK totaled 220 for 4 against Sama Steel. Sajid 97 and Najeeb 70 scored most of the runs. In reply, Sama Steel tamely caved in for 144 runs. Nabeel picked up 3 wickets while Omar, Imran and Saud shared bagged 2 wickets each. CKK won by 76 runs.
