JEDDAH, 1 May 2005 — The anti-beggary department got a surprise when they arrested an Indonesian beggar soliciting for money recently, Al-Bilad reported. They found she had in her possession more than SR70,000. The woman said she was begging for money so she could collect money to travel to her country or to buy some medicine for her family.
