This is with reference to the report “King: Citizens, expatriates liable to protect country” (May 5). It goes without saying that the expatriates will always stand shoulder to shoulder with their Saudi brothers for the protection of the Kingdom, so as to continue enjoying the fruit of peace and stability in this country.
We, expatriates, are not only committed to their jobs but we also will take all possible measures to maintain the stability of the Kingdom. We wholeheartedly support the Saudi armed forces and other security agencies, which are trying their best to protect the integrity of the Kingdom. They have, no doubt, dedicated their lives to their country and deserve to be recognized the way the government has already done. We assure once again on behalf of the expatriate community their readiness to render all help to the authorities to maintain peace and harmony in the country.
