MADINAH: The road security patrol in Madinah has launched several Ramadan programs, including distribution of brochures and meal packets among motorists.
To ease crowding on roads, particularly on the Madinah-Makkah Expressway, the force has set up relaxation and check points. It has also embarked on a project of distributing meal packets among travelers at the Al-Ashira region on the Hijrah Road (45 km from the city), besides brochures on road security.
Brig. Khaled Al-Ghamdi, commander of the force in Madinah, has also participated in the distribution of meal packets and brochures, which are in English and Urdu.
The tasks of the road security focus mainly on humanitarian activities along with security activities on various roads.
