Aljomaih Automotive Company, the largest dealer for General Motors in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, held a special ceremony to honor 147 graduates Kingdomwide, of whom 67 are from the eastern region.
The graduates took part in the joint training program, organized by General Motors and Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.
The ceremony was held with the support of Sheikh Mishary Ibrahim Aljomiah, general manager of the eastern region branch. Samir Suleiman, head of Vocational Training Council in the eastern region, Ahmed Al-Obaid, manager of Labor Office in the eastern region, and Tariq Al-Ansari, manager of human resources development Fund in the eastern region, and delegation of General Motors led by Amir Oraibi.
The ceremony included several activities and graduates received their certificates and gifts.
General Motors and Vocational and Technical Training Corporation instructors who took part in the training program were also honored at the ceremony.
Gifts and honorary shields were presented to all participants in recognition of their efforts for the success of the program.
Sheikh Mishary Ibrahim Aljomaih, highlighted the strong belief of Aljomaih Automotive Company in the importance of training of national staff to hold technical and vocation positions in the company. The number of Saudi youth appointed by the company, after completing their training, has reached more than 872 trainees. This is an indication of the company’s keen concern in Saudization. The Saudization ratio in Dammam dealership reached 47 percent.
He added: “You are well aware that achieving success in work comes only through taking good care of the staff as well as to offer them specialized training and spur him to do his best to mater his work. Our Saudi employees have proved themselves in work disciplines.”
