JEDDAH, 31 July — Abdul Malik Alsaei, a Bahraini national, is the new country manager of Gulf Air for Saudi Arabia based in Jeddah. “This is a new and exciting challenge for me and another important step forward in my career. I’ve a highly professional team and look forward to working with them to develop a long term relationship with our trade and business partners, and across the community,” Alsaei said. A graduate from the UK, he began his career with Gulf Air in Kuwait. He also worked in India, Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan as area manager prior to his appointment. Most recently, Alsaei worked in the airline’s Abu Dhabi office as the manager for Abu Dhabi and Alain regions. Abu Dhabi is one of the four hub stations of the airline, which is owned equally by Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar. (KSR)
