RIYADH, 7 August — Saudi Arabian Airlines will ask passengers who suffer from health problems to inform the reservation section while booking their seats. This was disclosed by Capt. Saad Al-Shahry, director of safety at the airline. Speaking to Arab News, he said Saudia would also ask passengers suffering from chronic diseases to carry a medical report. Asked whether the airline would appoint doctors on its long-distance flights, he said, “We will keep a medical kit like all other international airlines”. However, he said Saudia would make use of doctors traveling on its flights to treat any patients who may fall ill on board.
