JEDDAH, 24 August — V.V. Varghese is the president of the new managing committee of Kairali, a social and cultural organization of expatriates belonging to the southern Indian state of Kerala. The other office-bearers elected are: K.A. Abdul Samad, general secretary; A. Thankappan Pillai, secretary finance; Thomas Chakompally, secretary cultural affairs; and Sukumar S. Menon, secretary public relations.
