AJMAN, 31 August — Students of Gulf Medical College have started their summer training courses at various reputable hospitals in Germany, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and India. These summer camps are sponsored by GMCA and will be a regular program for the 3rd, 4th and 5th year students. Next year the college is planning to add the US to its list of countries.
Gulf Medical College, Ajman (GMCA) was established by a decree issued by Sheikh Humaid ibn Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Member of Supreme Council, UAE and rule of Ajman in 1998.
The courses offered at the medical institution are the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery) and BPI (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) degrees.
Boys and girls of all nationalities who have completed 12th grade or what is equivalent to it, are eligible to apply for admission. Admissions in progress for the MBBS and BPI degrees for the new academic year will start on Sept. 15, 2001.
