RIYADH, 14 September — The labor offices in the Kingdom will launch a campaign on Sept. 18 to follow up Saudization of jobs in private companies and establishments. Ahmad Al-Mansour, deputy minister for labor affairs, told Arab News that the move was taken to implement the Cabinet decision which insists that companies having 20 or more employees should Saudize their jobs by 30 percent this year. He said the companies have to comply with this decision to get things processed at the labor office. “We are ready to cooperate with those companies who wanted to correct their job situation,” he added. The Labor and Social Affairs Ministry has set up a complete data base on employees working in private companies.
