RIYADH, 13 September - The Ministry of Information destroyed more than one million items worth SR10 million on Tuesday for violating intellectual property rights. Aidh Al-Ghamdi, director of field supervision, told Arab News that the ministry had confiscated the banned materials from shops in Riyadh, Dammam, Taif, Qasim and Wadi Al-Dawasir during the past three months. They included cassettes, PlayStation CDs, videos and decoder cards.
