JEDDAH, 1 October — On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosque King Fahd, Makkah Governor Prince Abdul Majeed will wash Kaaba on Oct. 17, the first day of the Shaaban, said Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Shaibi, chief custodian of Kaaba. Dr. Saleh ibn Humaid, president of the affairs of the Haram Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque, and members of diplomatic corps of Muslim countries in the Kingdom will attend the function. Zamzam and rose water will be used for the washing of the holy house.
