JEDDAH, 4 October — Jeddah police arrested an Indian female doctor on charges of performing illegal abortions in her clinic. She was charging between SR1,000 and SR2,000 per case. The practice is against Shariah principles. Legal action will be taken against her after the investigations are over, said an official source at the medical licensing department in the health directorate. After the sentence is given, her doctor’s license will be canceled, she will be deported and blacklisted, the official added.
