RIYADH, 4 October — Rafiq Khalil, the new Egyptian ambassador to the Kingdom, said the relations between his country and Saudi Arabia are better than ever. The economic relations are on a strong foundation thanks to the activities of joint business committees and mutual investments in both the countries, Khalil said. The ambassador, who was earlier posted as Egypt’s envoy to Tanzania, was serving as deputy assistant minister of foreign affairs before his current appointment.
