MADINAH, 8 October — A Saudi guilty of making scandalous accusations against a government official has been sentenced to flogging and jail, according to an official source. The accusations are related to a five-year dispute between the man found guilty and the government official. The Shariah court sentenced the culprit after finding that his repeated complaints against the official were baseless.
