MAKKAH, 14 October — A teacher at a girls school in Makkah was assaulted by a student in the classroom. The secondary school student was provoked by the teacher’s refusal to allow her to go out of the class. She threw the teacher on the floor and started kicking and hitting her while her classmates looked on. Teacher’s clothes were torn, her face and chest were bruised in the assault which continued till other teachers interfered, Okaz newspaper reported yesterday.
