JEDDAH, 26 November — The body of a Saudi youth, who was killed by a 20-year-old girl two years ago, is still at the Asir Central Hospital as the investigation into the incident continues, Al-Watan newspaper reported yesterday.
The paper said the girl had admitted to the murder but the relatives of the youth suspect the involvement of another party. They have also expressed doubts about the initial medical report.
Abdullah Al-Shahrany, brother of the slain youth, said the girl would not have been able to carry out the murder alone. The body was cut into pieces, was burned and covered by a bed sheet, and taken outside. "All these things could not have been done by a lone girl," he said.
The doctor who prepared the initial report was later fined SR50,000 for misdemeanors and deported.
