KARACHI, 27 November — The leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Altaf Hussain, may visit India soon following the visit of former Premier Benazir Bhutto. Altaf told a meeting of party workers in Karachi Sunday night on telephone from London that he had been invited to India but he feared he would be branded a traitor for being in a country, considered hostile to Pakistan. " Benazir is in India, and no one has raised objection. None of her party members has spoken against her visit. I should also visit India as I have been invited." Altaf told his audience that attempts were being made to redefine the boundaries of the province of Sindh. The Punjab Revenue Department has announced it will collect land revenue from 17 villages, located on Sindh’s side of Punjab border. The MQM leader cautioned his supporters against a fresh crackdown.
