JEDDAH, 27 December — Riyadh Governor Prince Salman will attend an international seminar on the financing of public utilities such as electricity, water and drainage organized by the Arriyadh Development Authority, in conjunction with the University of California, Berkeley on 12 Jan. 2002, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported yesterday. The forum aims at focusing on the challenges faced by public utilities particularly in light of the past experiences in other countries. The meeting will also discuss the roles of both public and private sectors in upgrading the utilities.
