Our children crying in the streets

Over the many devastating defeats

Our health withering away

As we pray to live just one more day

Our mental health in poor condition

Will we live to see results from the terror coalition?

The sun rises and the sun sets day after day

My children only wishing they could go out and play

Oh what it would be like to live in the United States

No Bin Laden to single-handedly determine our fates

There are trees, water, and food galore

We couldn’t dream of anything more

The thought of freedom makes my heart sing

Oh what joy and happiness America could bring

As we watch our fellow countrymen die

It is overpowered by a much louder cry

A cry for a more human society

With people of every variety

A place where there is no hatred

A gift that would always be sacred

That’s why we are certain that justice and liberty

Will be the only thing that will ever set us free.
