HYDERABAD , 29 December — The ruling Telugu Desam Party created a furor in the AP Legislative Assembly yesterday over a multi-million rupee international telephone calls racket involving the son-in-law of the leader of opposition Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhar Reddy of the Congress party. The issue rocked the assembly for almost three hours amidst heated exchanges between Telugu Desam and Congress members. Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy demanded a judicial probe by a sitting Supreme Court judge or State High Court judge into the alleged involvement of his son-in-law in the ISD racket. Congress members, too, demanded a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the racket. (SAJ)
