JEDDAH, 4 January — Qassim police arrested recently a man who fired at a police patrol which tried to stop him while he cut down a tree in violation of regulations governing environmental protection, reported Al-Watan. The man came down from the tree with a gun and started firing at the police. None of them were injured. The man then calmly collected the felled branches of the tree and drove away. Later, police tracked him down and arrested him.
